Pentaksowe portrety/Pentax protraits

Some of you may have seen my small presentation of the Pentax 110 mounted onto the Sony NEX camera (you can find it here). I'm prepariing to include other cameras into that presentation and the portraits presented below are going to be a part of it. This time I used a tiny Pentax Q camera to create them. Together they form a very neat set, and photo effects of such cooperation can be found below.

Pojedynek standardów do NEXa/A duel of standard lenses for NEX: Sony E 35 mm f/1.8 vs Sigma E 30 mm f/2.8 EX DN

Due to the fact that for some time w in possession of both lenses I decided to compare them, as the focal length entitles them to be frequently used by Nex owners. First of all I would like to emphasise that in no way this is a professional test - at the most "consumer test" or the experience form using, enriched with some technical elements.

Absrakcje/Obstractions

Dziś mniej słów, więcej zdjęć. Zdjęć szczególnych, bo powstałych w specjalnym miejscu - w świątyni dumania ;-)

Less words, more photos today. These pictures are special because they were taken in a special place - in a temple of poo ;-)

Meta/The End

Beside our skyscraper there is a Place. Gentlemen of hoarse voices and noses of the Rudolph the Reindeer gather there to enjoy themselves (and the surrounding area) with a sophisticated discussion and sublime music with strong, pulsating rhythm. Usually at the end of the working day, or about 11 am... However, there are times when the Place is quiet, desolate and a bit sad. Such a moment I wanted to show you.

Popołudniowa wycieczka z Pentaksem Q/An afternoon trip with the Pentax Q

Taking advantage of some free time this afternoon, I took a tiny trip out of the city, armed with a miniature mirrorless camera, the Pentax Q. I mounted a tiny lens from an almost forgotten Pentax 110 system (which I will describe in a short time) - 24 mm f/2.8, using an adapter received erarlier today. The lens gives an "equivalent focal length" of 132 mm at an aperture of 2.8.
The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining so much that even cars, lampposts and buildings seemed to camber:

Początek to chwila bardzo delikatna.../A beginning is a very delicate time...

Cóż to takiego?

A dlaczego "Per analogia"*?

Zapraszam!

Know then that it is the year 2013, another year of the reign of our Prime Minister Donald. The concept of my previous blog is a little bit obsolete, still evolving in the direction of what you will be able to read/view here. So without further ado, I invite all of you who are interested in photography, rather the hardware than artistic side of it. Of course, if you don't give a damn about it, you're still invited
This blog will be dedicated to a specific part of the modern photo gear, to the mirrorless cameras. What are they? Well, "DSLRs without mirrors", compact cameras with interchangeable lenses, or whatever people want to label them. I use them because they allow me to try a number of very different and often exotic lenses and to enjoy some interesting effects they provide.
And why "Per analogia"*? Firstly, you will find some comparisons here - of lenses and other equipment. Not very scientific, full of digits, graphs, and 100% crops, but rather arising from a normal shooting experience.
Secondly, the lenses that I use very often come from the days of the film (analogue) photography, and I still will use them with film cameras to take some old-fashioned, traditional photos.

And thirdly, because when something is written in Latin, it sounds cool, doesn't it? :-)

So here we go!

* Tak, wiem, powinno być "Per analogiam" / Yes, I know it should say "Per analogiam"
